NCERT has not conducted NTSE since the scheme was put on hold, and as of mid-2026 no revival has been announced. We list it because parents keep asking; if it returns, this page updates within 48 hours. Beware of coaching material implying otherwise.

Who is it for?

Students of Class 10. Subject focus: GK / Multi / Other. As with any olympiad, the best candidates are children who voluntarily enjoy the subject — an olympiad should stretch curiosity, not manufacture pressure.
