SOF ISO — International Science Olympiad (formerly NSO)

Science Olympiad Foundation · Classes 1–12 · 2026–27 window: L1: 30 Oct / 19 Nov / 3 Dec 2026 · L2 Feb 2027

SOF's flagship science exam — note the 2026-27 rename from NSO to ISO.

Same structure as before the rename: subject section plus an Achievers section, 35–50 questions by class, one hour. Level 2 for Classes 3–12. If you see 'NSO' on older material, it is this exam.

Who is it for?

Students of Classes 1–12. Subject focus: Science. As with any olympiad, the best candidates are children who voluntarily enjoy the subject — an olympiad should stretch curiosity, not manufacture pressure.
