INPhO — Indian National Physics Olympiad

HBCSE · Classes 11–12 · 2026–27 window: Late Jan / early Feb 2027 (expected)

Stage two in Physics — the exam that selects India's IPhO training camp.

Entry only via NSEP qualification. Long-form theory problems requiring deep, multi-step physics. The 2025-26 cycle held INPhO on 1 Feb; expect a similar late-Jan/early-Feb 2027 slot, confirmed on HBCSE's site around December.

Who is it for?

Students of Classes 11–12. Subject focus: Physics. As with any olympiad, the best candidates are children who voluntarily enjoy the subject — an olympiad should stretch curiosity, not manufacture pressure.
