IOQM — Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics

MTA(I) with HBCSE · Classes 8–12 · 2026–27 window: 6 Sep 2026 (Sun) · reg closes 25 Jul 2026

The single national gateway into India's Mathematical Olympiad programme — the road to RMO, INMO and the IMO.

IOQM 2026 is confirmed for 6 September 2026; registration (centre or individual) closes 25 July 2026. 30 questions, 3 hours, OMR-based, negative marking applies. Top scorers per region qualify for RMO. If your child is serious about mathematics, this is the most meaningful exam on the calendar.

Who is it for?

Students of Classes 8–12. Subject focus: Maths. As with any olympiad, the best candidates are children who voluntarily enjoy the subject — an olympiad should stretch curiosity, not manufacture pressure.
